Injection Molding

Flexible, Scalable, and Built for Quality

At Rapicast, we provide precision injection molding services designed to meet a wide range of customer needs — from standard plastic parts to complex, high-end components that require tight tolerances, exceptional strength, or detailed surface finishes. Whether you’re producing functional prototypes, pilot runs, or full-scale mass production, we offer the flexibility and expertise to bring your designs to life — consistently and reliably.

From Everyday Parts to Top-Class Production

We understand that each project is unique. That’s why we support:

  • Small to large part sizes

  • Single- and multi-cavity molds

  • Standard grade to premium aesthetic and functional plastics

  • Low-volume trial runs to full-scale mass production

Whether you’re manufacturing consumer electronics, medical housings, or industrial enclosures, we adapt our tooling and processing approach to match your application, tolerance, material, and budget.

Working Process

1

Design & File Submission

Clients submit 3D CAD files or 2D technical drawings along with part requirements (material, quantity, color, finish). Our team reviews for manufacturability and recommends any needed design optimizations.

2

Mold Tooling & Quotation

We prepare a quotation covering mold cost, part unit cost, lead time, and material options. For new tooling, we begin mold design and fabrication, ensuring compatibility with our high-performance injection machines.

3

Mold Trial & Sample Approval

We conduct initial mold trials (T1 samples), inspect critical dimensions, surface finish, and functionality. Approved samples are sent to the client for final validation before mass production.

4

Mass Production & Quality Control

Upon approval, we begin full production using our D4000 high-tonnage injection machine and other systems. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure dimensional accuracy, cosmetic consistency, and part performance.

5

Post-Processing & Shipping

Finished parts are post-processed as required (e.g., trimming, printing, assembly, packaging) and securely shipped to the client using reliable global logistics solutions.

Powered by High-Capacity, High-Precision Equipment: The D4000

At the heart of our injection molding operations is the D4000 high-tonnage injection molding machine, a powerful system engineered to handle even the most demanding production tasks.

Key highlights from the D4000 specification:

  • Clamping force: 4000 kN – ensuring part stability and mold precision

  • Injection weight: Up to 61794g (depending on screw size) – perfect for large parts or multi-cavity molds

  • Injection pressure: Up to 3111 bar – delivering excellent material flow and surface finish

  • Max mold size: 2400 × 2000 mm – suitable for oversized and complex tooling

  • Advanced configurations: Compatible with automation, hot runner systems, ejector plates, and more

  • Customizable: 4 screw configurations, variable L/D ratios, and fast response injection speeds up to 1279 mm/s

With this level of performance, we can produce large, multi-functional, or geometrically complex items while maintaining dimensional accuracy, cosmetic quality, and repeatability — ideal for industries that demand uncompromising precision.
